Hardwork Monitors,a social assessment Group has commended the Corps Marshal,Federal Roads Safety Commission FRSC ,Boboye Oyeyemi on his consistency and renewed vigour by it’s men in the monitoring of Nigeria roads, before, during and after the Yuletide.
The commendation became neccesary at the backdrop of well thought out, round the clock patrol covering all the units, state sectors, commands, zones including the Federal Capital territory which covers the entire country.
Since the beginning of the year 2021,Mohammed Daud says the group had gone round over 20 states in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, including the FCT, their was a remarkable improvement likened to the spirit of the founding fathers like Chief Wole Soyinka,Olu Agunloye,Haladu Hannaniya and others.
The group thought it was going to be the usual ceremonial and Yuletide patrol and inspections, but it turned out to be well planned and permanent exercise that will rid Nigeria roads of rough driving and drivers..
He says this is a result of synergy, group and collective efforts of the corps Marshal and it’s men, saying this is the best thing that will happen to Nigeria.
‘Our roads are now safe, sound, assessible and accessible without the usual dirge of deaths and accidents on Nigerian roads’
‘This alone has confirmed that the man Boboye at the helms of affairs is the best thing that will happen to Nigeria.’
This developement has demonstrated that some public servants are allowed to hold forth regardless of term or tenure of office.
‘The current Corps Marshal has proved his mettle in the last few years at the helms of the organisation, with many achievements, innovations, initiatives and major reorganisation.’
‘We are confident that FRSC radio along robust patrol will bring to bear a permanent sanity on our roads.’ He said.
He urged the general public and Nigerians to cooperate with the men and officers of the Commission to deliver on it’s mandate.
It is quite impressive going to turn interior part of the country with men of the FRSC carrying out similar operation in line with their operation.
