Gale of Resignations hit APC in Kogi State as more Officials tender letters as The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ankpa LGA of Kogi State has suffered another humiliation and setback as a Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman of the local government on Youth Mobilization, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan tendered his resignation letter.
He stated this while addressing the press that his decision is borne out of his desire to chart a new course in his political journey in life adding that, his previous party, the APC at the state level has failed to keep to its promise to the masses.
It could be recalled that ,the party chairman of Ankpa LGA, Hon. Alh.Abdullahi Zakari resigned from the party some times ago before the present action of the party at the state level.
Since his resignation from the party , a source close to Hon. Kabiru gathered that, things are no longer business as usual as thousands of members of the party have been leaving APC to the Social Democratic Party including his former chairman of the party at the local government level as he commands large followership across the local government area.
Interesting days lie ahead as the electorate count less than three months to the state governorship election as the people believe strongly in Muri Ajaka leadership.
Hon. Kabiru Alhassan whom the party members described as a lover of Governor Yahaya Bello and a committed member of the APC decamping to the SDP as a major set for the party have so many loyalist across the local government.
