Governor Ortom’s 2019 Second Term Inauguration Programme

The programme for the inauguration of Governor Samuel Ortom and his Deputy, Engineer Benson Abounu on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, has been released.
A statement issued by the Chairman, Information and Publicity Sub-committee, Comrade Joseph Shimaor, says the event which will be generally low-key will focus mainly on the inauguration scheduled to take place at IBB Square, Makurdi.
Party stalwarts and supporters, spiritual and traditional rulers, invited guests as well as other members of the public are expected to arrive the venue of the inauguration from eight o’clock in the morning.
The ceremony is billed to end by 1pm.
The statement says there will be Jumat service on Friday, 31st May and Inter-denominational Church service on Sunday, 2nd June.
It further states that the inauguration will be preceded by the Governor’s special interview with Radio Benue and The Voice newspaper.
