The Benue State Government has awarded two contracts to Triacta Nigeria Limited for the construction of 47.7 kilometers, Daudu-Gbajimba and 55.00 kilometers, Makurdi-Yogbo-Udei-Udei Branch roads at the costs of N3,250,000,014.72 and N5,100,000,0027.74 respectively
Performing the signing ceremony on behalf of the Benue State Government, Works and Transport Commissioner, Engr. Alexander Shaapera charged the contractor to work diligently on the two projects to achieve early completion, adding that government would not entertain extension of time and variation in the cost of the projects by the contractor.
The Commissioner revealed that the two roads which have suffered neglect are critical to the security and stability of Benue State in the axis bordering Nassarawa State.
He promised timely release of funds by government to the contractor to achieve early completion of the two road projects as well as sustained supervision.
Responding, Managing Director and Chief Executive of Triacta Nigeria Limited Engr. Elie Farhart who signed the contract on behalf of the company promised to carry out the projects in line with contractual agreements.
The Daudu-Gbajimba road has 24 months completion time , while that of Makurdi-Yogbo-Udei-Udei branch has 12 months completion period.
