His excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike is the governor of the oil rich Rivers state. What many do not know about him, however, is his determination to put his party, the People’s Democratic Party, first in his political undertakings.

From Building bridges to schools, hospitals to provision of pipe borne water, critical hospital facilities to comfortable accommodation for both Legislature, executive and judiciary staff, he ranks first on many counts. Rivers State is the bride of many investors.
Governor Wike towers above many of his peers in accountability, probity and truth. His frank opinion on many national issues has him a darling of many citizens, especially the youths across political and ethnic divides.
His contributions towards deepening the practice of constitutional democracy would always remain golden in the annals of Nigerian political history.
