Governor Darius Ishaku today swore in two newly appointed commissioners, the ceremony took place at the Government House Exco Chambers Jalingo. These is coming as a replacement of the two commissioners who died last year as the result of ill health. Hon Jethro Yakubu is replacing late. Hon Napthali who was in charge of empowerment from Wukari LG while Hon Kallamu Alhamdu is replacing Late Hon senlo Alexander from Zing who held Rural Electrification.

The Governor speaking shortly after administering the oath of office admonished them to put in their best in other to catch up with the speed at which the Rescue agenda is already on. He said these ministries are so demanding and hands must be on deck to achieve the desired result.

We are saddled with so much responsibility at hand as it stands today and we must drive at every possible means in making sure that we finish just as we are going. Ishaku said empowerment has been paused for awhile now and any one who is taking over from where the last commissioner stooped must go round to make sure that he updates the trend.

The ministry of Rural Electrification Is going to be handled by Hon. Kallamu Alhamdu, while Hon. Jethro Yakubu takes over the ministry of empowerment (Poverty Alleviation)

Congratulations to the newly sworn in Commissioners
