Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello, CON, on Thursday received the wife of the Minister of Steel Development, Hajia Shaibu Audu, who paid an appreciation visit to the governor.
Hajia Shaibu Audu, who was accompanied by her husband, Shaibu Abubakar Audu, said she personally deemed it fitting to come and thank the governor for all the support he gave her husband in putting his name forward for ministerial nomination and his fatherly role in her husband’s political journey thus far.
Hajia Shaibu said she was elated when her husband’s name was announced as minister-designate while she was away from the country, and she was also proud to see the governor present during the screening at the National Assembly.
Describing her husband as a man of excellence with a committed spirit of outstanding performance in all his endeavors, Mrs. Shaibu believes he will make the state and nation proud in the discharge of his duti
