Today, I had the privilege of welcoming Ambassador Umar Damagun, the Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), to the Government House in Bauchi. This visit was pivotal, focusing on key Party matters and strategies to fortify the PDP as we navigate our future path.

During our discussions, Ambassador Damagun reinforced the PDP’s status as Nigeria’s most resilient and dependable political party. He praised my efforts in promoting unity and cohesion within the party, highlighting the PDP’s reputation as the country’s only tested and trusted political entity.

The visit aimed to engage on crucial issues, and I expressed my heartfelt gratitude for this opportunity. I commended the leadership of our esteemed party and emphasized the political influence of the northeast region, which boasts leaders who have significantly contributed to our party’s success.
