Governor Abubakar Sani Bello Becomes Patron of North Central People’s Forum

 

Niger State Governor and Chairman, North Central Governor’s Forum, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has been conferred with the Patron of North Central People’s Forum(NCPF).

The investiture took place at the Government House, Minna when members of the forum paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

Speaking at the event, the leader of the delegation, Lt. Gen.Jeremiah Timbut Useni said the conferment of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello was as a result of his zeal and commitment to the security, unity, peace and progress of the North Central zone of the country.

The leader of the delegation urged the Governor to accept the forum, support and contribute to her activities and programmes for the benefit of the people of the state, the zone and the country at large.

While briefing the Governor on the activities of the forum, Lt. Gen. Useni said the North Central People’s Forum will unite the people of Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau and the Federal Capital Territory, adding that it will offer the goe-political zone “the opportunity to present a united front to speak on behalf of the zone.

He then commended Governor Sani Bello and all the North Central Governors for their efforts in rising to their responsibilities in defending the people of their various states against the insecurity that has bedeviled the zone.

Lt. Gen Useni also called on the people of the zone to rise to the challenges facing the zone.

Responding, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello commended the forum, saying that the establishment of the forum was timely and a good development as its efforts will complement that of the North Central Governors in their quest to ensure good governance in their various states.

The Governor, then, commended the forum for finding him worthy of the investiture and assured them of his commitment and dedication.
