Gov. Wada’s Appointees Thanks Gov. Bello For Payment of Their Outstanding Salary

The Forum of former Political Office Holders under Capt. Idris Wada have described Gov. Yahaya Bello as a promise keeper, thanked him for honouring his words with the commencement of the payment of their outstanding salary arrears owed them by Capt. Idris Wada administration.

The Forum of former Political Appointees between 2012-2016 gave the commendation in a statement signed by Hon. Sadiq Abubakar Ainoko Sadiq, former Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Barr. Kayode Olowomoran, Former Commissioner For Culture following the payment of one month out of the four months salary arrears owed them by the immediate past administration of Capt Idris Wada.

While pointing out that Gov. Bello has by his action scored another first as an administration to have paid past indebtedness of other administration, added that he has proven to be a man of his words, can be trusted.

The Forum while appreciating Gov. Bello for keeping to his promise, said it is looking forward to the continued payment of the remaining three months outstanding salaries, leave bonuses, as well as the severance package.

The Forum concluded by saying, ” Your Excellency, Having kept to your promise with the commencement of the payment of our outstanding salaries. Be rest assured and you can count on our unalloyed support and cooperation now and in the coming days to your political aspirations, programs and policies of your administration”.

” In the coming weeks, the leadership of the Forum will be holding a World Press Conference in Lokoja, the State Capital, to give a direction of it preferred candidate for the November Governorship election”.
