Gov Bello Appoints Ododo’s Personal Assistant As Auditor-General For Local Government

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has appointed Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege, as Auditor-General for Local Government.

Governor Bello made the appointment known during the state executive council meeting in Lokoja on Monday.

Before his appointment, Adabenege was the Personal Assistant to Kogi State Governor-Elect, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.

Adabenege succeeds his boss, Ododo, who was the Auditor-General for Local Government before he resigned to contest in the governorship election last year.

The new Auditor General for Local Government is a graduate of accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Also, the permanent secretary, Ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Tijani, was appointed Accountant General of the state
