Governor Bala Mohammed has led the leadership of the Bauchi State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the national chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu.
The governor, who made this known in a post on his Facebook page on Friday, said the visit to Ayu’s residence in Abuja, was to introduce top party’s officials in the state to the chairman.
The governor assured that the party remains united and would continue to propagate democratic tenets.
He said : “I introduced the leadership of the Bauchi State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to our party’s National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
” During the interactive session which held at the residence of our National Chairman in Abuja, we appreciated the support from the party’s leadership, adding that the Bauchi PDP remains united and committed to propagating visions of the party for its success.
“We also congratulated the Chairman while noting that the PDP will rescue Nigerians by providing exemplary leadership.”
PlatinumPost reports that Bala Mohammed, a former minister and senator, defeated incumbent governor in 2019 to emerge victorious in the 2019 gubernatorial election in Bauchi State.
