On the edition of the Journalists’ Hangout, the PDP’s warning to the APC to steer clear of their members was one of the topics that was discussed. You may recall that some PDP governors have moved to the APC, hence, the warning. Babajide Otitoju expressed his thoughts on PDP’s warning.
“I’ve said this before, that PDP should go and beg Gov. Mai Mala Buni because he is a gentleman, who looks like he can’t hurt a fly, but by the time he executes his plan, it would be too late for the PDP to do anything about it.
Mai Mala Buni, appears to have a mission that before he surrenders the mandate as the caretaker Commitee of the APC, he would settle as many disagreements within the APC as possible and would also go into the opposition parties and win members for the APC. Look at Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Dimeji Bankole, they are now members of the APC and once he wins these people over, he takes them to the President to cement it.
You may recall that three APC governors of the North-East have gone to visit Gov. Mataiwale Zamfara State Governor and the governor even named some streets after those APC governors. At this point, the PDP cannot predict Maitawale’s next move.”
