National Assembly Service Commission NASC Executive Chairman, Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE has congratulated the President of the Senate,Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan on his turbaning as Ganuwan Kabi,by the Emir of Argungu, HRH Alhaji Samaila Mohammed Mera,Sarkin Kabin Argungu.
A statement issued by the commission’s chairman described the prestigious chieftaincy title confered on Senate President by the Argungu emirate council, as a testament of patriotic and selfless services displayed overtime by the leadership of the National Assembly, under Senator Dr Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan.
Kadi stressed the decision of the traditional rulers in honouring the Senate Presdent across the country,was a testament of his laudable and solemn leadership qualities, which culminated into synergies of developement between the legislative and the executive arm of government to advance the course of Nigeria’s project.
He further described the Senate President as a Nationalist,who has an in-depth interest of the country at heart in all ramifications.
The commision’s chairman stated that the silver jubilee honour done to Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan was in recognition of his well thought out leadership posture,while extending similar message to the Royal father,Alhaji Samaila Mohammed Mera on this important occasion of his silver jubilee.
