Gani Adams Slams Tinubu’s Government as Indifferent, Insensitive, and Unresponsive.
The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has strongly criticized the President Bola Tinubu-led administration for its handling of the country’s economic and security challenges. In an open letter, Adams lamented that the government is becoming “indifferent, insensitive, and unresponsive” to the plights of Nigerians.
Adams expressed disappointment that the administration has failed to address the rising cost of living, insecurity, and human rights abuses. He cited the recent fuel price increase as a “brutal assault” on Nigerians, who are already struggling to make ends meet.
The Yoruba leader also condemned the arrest of protesters and the harassment of human rights activists, saying that the government is becoming “autocratic” and “repressive”.
Adams urged the government to be more sensitive to the needs of Nigerians and to take concrete steps to address the country’s challenges. He warned that the current situation is a “recipe for crisis” and that Nigerians cannot continue to bear the economic hardship.
