Funtua Yoruba Youth Celebrates Anniversary Saturday

The Yoruba Parapo Youth Forum (YPYF) in Funtua local government area of Katsina State will on Saturday, February 29, 2020 celebrate its first anniversary at the Funtua Township Stadium.

According to the invite sent out to guests, the anniversary will be marked with an inaugural lecture, fund raising and presentation of merit awards to deserving persons.

The event, which is slated for 9.00am, will be chaired by a Funtua-based machine fabricator, Mr. Ayanbanji Ayantunde (Agbede) while the Director of PHC Department, Funtua LGA, Hajiya Muhibbat Abdullahi, will be the chairperson of the occassion.

To present the inaugural lecture with the theme ‘Importance of Unity in Diversity’ is an Abuja-based media practitioner and public affairs analyst, Bode Gbadebo, who is also a Deputy Editor at the LEADERSHIP Newspapers Group.

The Oba Yoruba of Funtua, HRH Alh. Murtala Adeleke will be the royal father of the day; while Alh. Abdulazeez Garba (Danmaliki) and a business tycoon, Mrs Ruth Adegoke, will serve as father and mother of the day respectively.

Barr. Abdulrazak Shehu and Engr. Mathew Abayomi are chief launcher and assistant chief launcher respectively for the male category; and business tycoons Hajia Nafisat Olatorera and Mrs Biola Ezekiel will be chief launcher and assistant chief launcher respectively for the female category; while the YPYF chairman, Bro. Imrana Abdulkarim, is the chief host.
