Foundation Confers Leadership Award of Excellence on Comr. Onuh Edoka.

An organization known as the Nigeria Advancement and Leadership Foundation has
called on Nigerians to recognize excellence among leaders at all levels.
The National Focal Officer of the body, Mr Justice Onons made the call while presenting an award of excellence on the State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress,
NLC, Comrade Onuh Edoka in Lokoja.
Mr Onons said such recognition would enable leaders to do more, noting that Comrade Edoka was nominated after thorough investigations on his leadership style and human disposition.
He explained that leadership has taken another dimension hence the need to initiate strategies that will propel good leadership at all levels.
The National Focal Officer who enumerated the achievements and qualities of the NLC Chairman, commended him for exhibiting inclusive leadership style and assured that the organization will sustain its efforts at enhancing good leadership.
In his response, the State NLC Chairman, represented by his Vice, Comrade Meliga Obaka said his zeal to serve the workers was a determination and expressed appreciation to the Nigeria Advancement and Leadership Foundation for recognizing his contributions so far.
Comrade Edoka assured that his leadership will strive to leave indelible legacies through collective efforts.
Goodwill messages were delivered by I.A. Abubakar of the Joint Negotiating Council, the Chairperson of the women wing of NLC, Comrade Habibat Umar-Ibrahim, Comrade
Amari Gabriel of the Medical and Health Workers Union as well as Secretary of the NLC, Comrade Owoeye.
The event was also attended by other high ranking officials of the organized labour in Kogi state.
