Former NASC Chairman, Ishaya Dare Akau Lauds Transformation Efforts Of Successor, Ahmed Kadi

Former Executive Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission NASC between 2001-2005, Mr Ishaya Dare Akau has praised the ongoing repositioning efforts of his successor, Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE.

Akau made this remark in his good will message at the ongoing 4 days National conference organised by the commision and States Assembly Service Commission SASC’S holding at Musa Shehu Yar’adua Hall, Murtala Mohammed square in Kaduna State.

He urged the state Governor’s to support the efforts of the current commision to allow not only adminstrative autonomy to state service commissions,but financial autonomy and enabling environment.

He expressed happiness on the part of the current commision for sustaining staff welfare, trainings and retrainings to ensure optimum performance and service delivery.

“Governments at all levels should allowed a level playing ground to the state commision particularly as well as NASC.”

“The efforts after 20 years to secure funds to construct a permanent site for the commision is a record breaking situation.”

Akau appealed to staff of the commision to support the new chairman’s developmental efforts, initiated in the last one year,so as to complment major ongoing reforms.

He also lauded Kaduna State Govenor for setting the pace of electronic voting, tremendous developement strides,by changing the face or Kaduna.

He described Governor El-Rufai as an audacious personalty,whose desire to achieve good deeds is undaunted.
