Former Kogi Governor, Ibrahim Idris Calls For Reconstruction of Ankpa, Enabo, Abejukolo, Bagana Road.

 

Ex Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has called on state and federal government to include Ankpa , Abejukolo Bagana Roads in Kogi state for reconstruction.

The former Govenor made the appeal while on a condolence visit to Enabo over the death of a prominent Igala leader, Alhaji Isiaka Alfa.

Idris who described the road as no longer motorable maintained that when reconstructed will reduce the plight of motorists and people of the area.

He further described the state of the roads as deplorable, calling for urgent attention.

‘We reconstructed this roads over 15 years ago, therefore it is now yearning for rehabilitation and total reconstruction.’

He said the request if not considered by both state and federal government will cut off the areas totally from the rest of the country.

He commended the federal government for the ongoing reconstruction of Makurdi- Naka- Adoka – Emere junction roads for easy access.
