Focus on Workers’ Welfare- Hon. Sunday Daku Tasks Governor Ododo on Supreme Court Victory.

Hon. Daku Sunday, Member representing Bassa in the Kogi State House of Assembly and Deputy Minority Leader, has congratulated Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo, on their Supreme Court victory. He praised the Governor’s commitment to moving Kogi State forward and appealed to him to continue prioritizing workers’ welfare.

In a statement, Hon. Daku Sunday said, “I congratulate you, Your Excellency, on your resounding victory at the Apex Court. It’s a victory for democracy and Kogites who voted for you. Your victory is an act of God and a testament to your vision and commitment.”

He urged the Governor to focus on delivering quality leadership, result-oriented policies, and development, and to foster unity in the State. Hon. Daku also appealed to Kogites to give their maximum support to the government, stressing that growth and development can only be attained through collective support and prayers.

The Supreme Court’s decision on August 23rd upheld the Appeal Court’s ruling, declaring Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo the winner of the 2023 Kogi Governorship election. Hon. Daku assured the Governor of continued support from Bassa Local Government.
