FM (94.1) Is Going Down under Your Watch – Austin Okai Tells Gov Yahaya Bello.

 

The People’s Democratic Party frontier from Kogi State, Comrade Usman Okai Austin has today dragged the Kogi State Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello over his little or no interest in the State’s owned Radio Station, Situated in Lokoja, the Kogi State Metropolis.

The Human Rights Activist who made this known via his Facebook page was quoted as saying, “this is a big shame on Kogi State, how can our main Radio station (FM94.1) be abandoned since March 18th 2021, (9 Months)?”

The report was made available to me, and according to my findings, the Kogi state government that couldn’t acquire a transmitter rented it and refused to pay the service charges, until it eventually got spoilt.

The State Governor is expected to pay the sum of 1.3 Billion naira to get everything working, till now no single transmitter there, this has jeopardized every operation in the station. Okai disclosed.

Let Yahaya Bello and his gangs who have been milking the State remedy the situation before things get out of hand, it’s unfortunate that this Bello led Administration has failed in all departments in the State. He concluded
