Kaduna state Governor, Mallam Nasir Elrufai today meet with the deposed Emir of Kano in Awe,the visits is coming an hour after the court sitting Abuja ordered immediate release of Sanusi Lamido from Awe where he is currently living on the order of Kano state government,
meanwhile Daily Trust report that Preparations are on top gear for Muhammadu Sanusi II to lead Friday prayer in Awe, The deposed Emir is being scheduled to lead the weekly congregational prayer in the town.
The mosque is attached to the Palace of Emir of Awe, Alhaji Isa Abubakar Umar. Youth have been seen bringing plastic mats to the mosque. It could be recalled that Muhammadu Sanusi II has been leading Daily congregational and Friday prayers in Kano before his dethronement.
