FCT SENATE: I Will Make Sure You Lose In 2027, Wike Dares Kingibe as Duo Engage in Heated Exchange Over FCT Development

A disagreement between FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Senator Ireti Kingibe (Labour Party) has resulted in a intense verbal exchange. Senator Kingibe criticized Wike’s performance, claiming that FCT residents are dissatisfied with his work and that he is disconnected from their needs. She highlighted issues such as the lack of schools, hospitals, and clean water in the FCT.

In response, Wike defended his actions, stating that he is committed to fulfilling the responsibilities assigned to him by President Bola Tinubu. He emphasized that he is focused on achieving results rather than seeking to gain friends. Wike also questioned Senator Kingibe’s contributions to the FCT residents’ welfare and development during her tenure in the National Assembly.

Confident in his position, Wike challenged Kingibe to run for the FCT seat again in 2027, predicting her defeat and stating that the previous election results would not be repeated.

The exchange highlights the ongoing debate and discussion among political leaders in Nigeria, shaping the country’s democratic evolution.
