The Federal Competitive and Consumer Protective Commission (FCCPC) has sealed Med Contour in caution and consumer safety pending further inquiry into a failed plastic surgery.

The FCCPC had begun investigation into the practices and process of Med Contour, its promoter, associates and employees.

In a release by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Babatunde Irukera said the commission’s initial review indicates that there is sufficient probable cause to inquire into the consumer protection aspects of the representations and services of Med Contour and its operatives.

Now the FCCPC has sealed Med Contour pending the conclusion of their investigation. This was made known in an update on their Twitter platform which read;

UPDATE: In furtherance of an open investigation, on reasonable suspicion of illegal activities (S.18(1) FCCPA), FCCPC today sealed Med Contour in an abundance of caution & consumer safety pending further inquiry.”
