James Abiodun Faleke, Chairman of the House Committee on Finance and Representative of Ikeja Federal Constituency, expressed his gratitude to Kogi State supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for voting for President Bola Tinubu. During his thank-you tour, Faleke praised Tinubu’s ability to lead Nigeria to greatness and make it a pride of Africa.

Faleke was warmly received by a large crowd in Kabba and his hometown of Ekinrin Adde in Ijumu Local Government Area. He visited His Majesty, Oba Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu, the Olu Adde of Ekinrin Adde, and thanked the people for their support, acknowledging that despite not representing the state, they still listened to him and voted APC.

Faleke assured the people that the current economic challenges will soon end, as President Tinubu has assembled a team of experts to address issues like inflation and scarcity. He encouraged the people to embrace agriculture and return to farming, emphasizing that food scarcity will only end when people produce what they eat.

The thank-you tour culminated in the Ekinrin-Adde cultural festival and annual New Yam Festival, where Faleke celebrated with his people, friends, and supporters. The Ekinrin-Adde Traditional Council and Development Association conferred a GRAND STAR Award on Faleke for his contributions and support to the community, Okunland, and Kogi State.

Dignitaries who visited Faleke’s residence included the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Salifu Joel Oyibo, Kogi West Senator, Hon. Sunday Karimi, and others. The event featured various dance groups, creating a carnival-like atmosphere.
