According to stories emanating from workers in the organization, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria FAAN has paid half salary after Management Embezzled N850 million Naira for fraudulent contract.
It was reported from a reliable source that, the management of Federal Airport Authority had squandered a total of N850 million naira on an unrealistic project believing to be a fraudulent activity.

He was quoted as saying, I am surprised to see the alert of half Salary as July payment, we have alot of responsibilities especially this festive period, how do we meet up with this percentage salary? This is totally unacceptable and I call on the relevant authorities to investigate the rationale behind the percentage salary payment to all FAAN staffs.
We have cases of corruption currently happening between principal Actors in this organization and this must be properly investigated, He concluded.
This is coming after top officials were accused of stealing over N850 from the organisation
However, the top FAAN officials led by the Deputy General Manager of Procurement, Mrs Ishola, a prime suspect in the racket, forged documents with a letterhead of the Ministry of Aviation to get the contract re-awarded and defrauded the organisation to the tune of over N750m.
Other officials involved in the racket include son of the Admin General Manager, Sodiq Musa; one Kayode; Shehu, an official at the Accounts Department, amongst others.
The fraud carried out by individuals in the Procurement Department was aided by the officials of the account and audit departments as the racket’s success will be impossible without the knowledge of the two departments.
After the fraud was detected, the FAAN set up an internal committee to investigate the officials involved.
