Exposed: How Corporate Affairs Commission Management Fleeces FG With Recurrent Server Failure

The incessant collapse of the Company Registration Portal of the Corporate Affairs Commission has yet occurred again.

This has resulted in a situation where for over one week now, customers have not been able to either file their corporate documents or take delivery of jobs already filed, resulting in loss of revenue.   But what is the cause of this incessant CRP breakdown?  You may ask.  Our investigation revealed that the CRP from the word go was designed to fail from time to time so as to be a channel through which Hundreds of Millions of Naira can be fleeced the government. A source simply put it “The days of untamed corruption has returned to the commission again and the immediate past Registrar General Bello Mahmud watered the garden of corruption in that agency”
One of the government agencies with a perennial history of untamed corruption is the Corporate Affairs Commission. Virtually all the former Registrar Generals of the commission devised ways of syphoning billions of Naira from the coffers of government through corrupt means.  But the current Acting RG of CAC, Lady Azinge Azuka Obiageli has not only toed the line of his predecessors, but has devised a more disruptive way of cornering hundreds of millions of Naira from the coffers of the Government, a discreet investigation carried out by LeadingReporters has revealed.

It is a known fact that CAC operates a fully automated system that enables clients to do most of their corporate jobs from every part of the country.  But this automated system, as good as it looks has become a nightmare as news of server failure from time to time has become the order of the day.
But does the server truly fail or has it become a means through which hundreds of Millions of Naira are voted out and pocketed?
Our investigation revealed that the days of untamed corruption has returned to the Corporate Affairs Commission.  From those at the helm of affairs to those at the customs care service. Our investigation revealed that officers who do assessment and verification of documents collect between N5,000 to N10,000 illegally from customers before their documents could be assessed and verified for processing.  Customers who do not pay this illegal money to those unpatriotic elements could have their documents delayed, thereby causing an unnecessary delay in job processing.
Our investigation further showed that the introduction of TSA dealt a blow on the corrupt management team of CAC, leading to a situation where they resort to using the Registration Portal as a means of cornering hundreds of Millions of Naira.
The ICT team of the commission has become a willing partner in crimein perpetuating this unholy and unpatriotic act where Government keeps losing revenue as a result of the activities of these corrupt elements.
