Barely few days to Kogi Governorship and Senate rerun election, sinister plans have been launched in an attempt to counter Okun agenda has been revealed.
Yesteday, the trio of Chief Jide Omokore, hon. Sunday Karimi, former member representing Yagba federal Constituency hosted Mr Smart Adeyemi at Egbe, Yagba West LGA.
The now busted meeting which was held last night at Omokore’s residence lasted up to early this morning 06-11-2019, with a selfish agenda to work against PDP candidates in the forthcoming gubernatorial and Senate elections.
Smart Adeyemi who have been going around begging for his past misdeed to Okun/ Kogi West and have been rebuffed by many Okun leaders to forget about his desperate third term agenda finally got two willing partners in person of Chief Omokore and Sunday Karimi, where they both agreed to work for governor Yahaya Bello despite the fact that Okun has her son as deputy governorship candidate for PDP, hon Samuel Bamidele Aro from Odo-Ere Yagba West LGA.
Smart Adeyemi ended up sleeping in Karimi’s house yesterday night and he was still there in Egbe uptill this morning.
The duo of Jide Omokore and Karimi have started calling and sending emissaries to some of Okun leaders across on the need for them to work against PDP governorship candidate and deputy as well as Senator Dino Melaye in the Senate rerun election.
Chief Jide Omokore who has ongoing multiple corruption cases with EFCC was said to have sealed a deal with governor Yahaya Bello to carry out traitorous assignment in Okun land by mobilising for Apc candidates in the twin election.
It will equally interest the good people of Okun nation, public and indeed Kogites that Chief Omokore has already collected and pocketed N500 million naira from governor Bello as sabotage fee for his assignment.
This money was received through “ManFriday'” with the name (Chijioke) via his Sterling Bank account.
Whatever further plans they may have, we wish to briefly remind Chief Jide Omokore that when he was detained for corruption cases on court orders, when he was looking for who to bail and surety him, Smart Adeyemi who is now parading himself around him was not there for him unfortunately.
Infact, Smart Adeyemi openly abandoned him to his travails, it was Gen. David Jemibewon (Rtd), and Prince Olushola Akanmode that came to court and stood in for him. It is on record that Prince Olushola Akanmode stood as Omokore’s surety while Smart Adeyemi absconded.
Okun people will not easily forget how same Omokore in 2011 manipulate the process that brought in Smart Adeyemi as Senator which led to eventual abysmal representation and political calamity where Kogi West capital was transferred to Ilorin, Kwara State.
They are at it again, Okun nation currently have two of her refined sons, Sam Bamidele Aro as deputy governorship candidate under PDP and distinguished Sen Dino Melaye, who have demonstrated proven capacity as a federal legislator where the voice of Kogi West is been heard nationally and internationally as PDP Senatorial candidate in November 16 election, let traitors know that progress of Okun/ Kogi West is more paramount to us than the ongoing political transaction of two or few individuals.
Finally, we wish to state in strong terms that by God’s grace, Okun and Kogi West generally will not and never abandon these two illustrious sons of the soil, Bamidele Aro and Dino Melaye for any selfish, greedy and unproductive agenda.
Whatever we do in life, history will always absolve us!
