To ensure full compliance with the judgement of Federal Capital Territory High Court that suspended the All Progressives Congress(APC) National Chairman,Adams Oshiomole, the Police authority will tommorow keep vigil at the National Sectariat of the party, OBSERVERS TIMES report.
This is to ensure full compliance and to forestall possible break down of law and order,if the National Chairman attempt to defy the decision of the court in his usual character.
Information gathered from top heirachy of the Police authority by Observer times, revealed the new development as top officers and men to be led by an AIG, name withheld in the IG’s office, is expected to lead tomorrow’s operation.
Impeccable sources has confirmed to OBSERVERS TIMES the possible arrest of the ruling party’s National Chairman if he decide to show up at the Party’s office .
Already reliable sources has hinted that an order of arrest on the embattled National Chairman led to the reports credited to the National secretary of the party, APC readiness to abide by the ruling of FHC Abuja.
On many occasions, members of the ruling APC have staged protests calling for the immediate removal of the party’s chairman on the premise of waning chances of the party, since his assumption of the leadership of the party.
Comrade Oshiomole, according to leaders and stakeholders of APC was solely responsible for the awkward events in Zamfara,Rivers,Adamawa,Bayelsa and other states, which led to the abysmal performance of the party in the last election .
The Party is already enveloped in anxiety if it will not loose Ondo and Edo,going by the unhealthy rivalry and cold war between the suspended chairman, and Edo state governor,Godwin Obaseki and other issues arising in Ondo.
Already, the Edo state chapter of the APC has clamped on the Comrade Chairman through his suspension from the party in his own state , OBSERVERS TIMES learnt.
The shameful and dismal outing of the APC in Kogi even though it is in government in the state, owing to the unpopular nature and forceful return of Governor Yahaya Bello, through violence means does not go down well with some of the party’s top echelon.
They further avered that the continuous stay of the Comrade Chairman till 2023,will further narrow down the chances of the party approaching the forthcoming election, with the main opposition PDP and other emerging political parties or third force .
The Presidency body language has also shown alot of discomfort in the way and manner the former governor is going about the affairs of the party.
The Comrade Chairman had mortgage the principle of internal democracy in the party, giving out the partys ticket in all elective and appointive offices to the highest bidders.
Going by the present developement, and the decision of the Party to abide by the judgement of the court, the National Chairman no doubt will be on his way out of the leadership position of the ruling APC.
As at press time, the National Working Committee(NWC), is expected to hold an emergency meeting to deliberate on the modalties to be adopted by the vacuum occassioned by today’s judgement.
