Deborah Abel, wife of a Nigerian soldier kidnapped along Giwa Funtua road, has appealed for prayers for her husband’s freedom.
She narrated that her husband, Abel Monday, a corporal with the Nigerian Army, was kidnapped in Zaria, along Giwa Funtua road on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
She also disclosed that the kidnappers demanded one hundred million naira for the release of her husband.
“Please I am demanding for your prayers. I am the wife of Corporal Abel Monday, who works with the Nigerian Army.
“Please my fellow citizens of this country, both home and abroad, please I need your prayers seriously.
“My husband is serving in Sokoto, Northern Nigeria, he came for pass last few weeks in Yola, Adamawa.
“On his way to his unit, he was kidnapped in Zaria, along Giwa Funtua road.
“The kidnappers are demanding for one hundred million naira (#100,000,000). Where on earth will a wife of a corporal soldier in the Nigeria army get this amount of money
“Please my loving citizens, both Christian and Muslim, black and white, please arise and help me pray to God for divine intervention.
“I call upon other people to join me in prayers in this trying moment,” she said.
