Have you ever experienced a bumpy ride on a bad road and wished you were in the position to fix the roads?
People like us just want to excel in other careers.
But most times, the undoings and high handedness of the constituted authorities makes me wish I was occupying those seats.
Recall that Kogi state recorded the most suicides in history by its civil servants between 2015 and 2019. This was largely due to hardship that they were subjected to.
Based on findings, poor infrastructure topped the list of turnoffs for corporate bodies that declined to invest in Kogi state. This indirectly affected the economy and job availability.
Interestingly, the propensity for praising this failed government by some youths is stemmed out of the evapourable favour they are gaining from this administration.
It is very hilarious that the unpopular Kogi state government in this present dispensation is only praised by its appointees on the two tiers.
Bello have successfully exposed the simplicity in the complexity of governance. In other words, systemic governance is not complex after all.
All year, he oppressed the people whom he was supposed to be answerable to.
He failed to understand that the monies and other precious resources were the people’s.
The power pendulum is swinging back towards the people and I hope we utilize it well this time and again.
