Epe Successfully Defends eTranzact Golf Classic Title, Wins N3m Prize

 

Francis Epe has emerged victorious in the second edition of the eTranzact Golf Classic, retaining the title he won in the previous edition. The tournament was held at the prestigious IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja.

Epe’s impressive performance saw him score 71, one under par, on all three days of the event, totaling 213 gross. This outstanding score secured his victory, beating his closest rival, Andrew Odoh, by two shots. Ibrahim Ocheje took third place with a score of 220.

As the defending champion, Epe expressed his gratitude for successfully defending his title and shared his aspirations to participate in international tournaments, including a potential tour in the United States in September.

Niyi Toluwalope, Managing Director/CEO of eTranzact, praised the event’s success, noting that it exceeded expectations. He commended the participants and emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting the tournament, aiming to provide additional resources and maintain the high level of quality in future events.

Epe’s victory earned him a prize money of N3 million, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication to the sport.
