Engr. Nurudeen Accepts PDP’s Appointment, Greets Party Chieftains

 

The former aspirant of Kogi State house of assembly, Engr. Yakubu Nurudeen Yahaya has expressed gratitude to the chieftains of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the leadership of the party’s youth wing – PDP National Youth Movement – for naming him the North Central Coordinator.

Hon. Nurudeen, who vied to represent Olamaboro State Constituency at the Kogi State Assembly in 2019 but lost to an opponent, said he accepts the offer with gladness and assures the youth of the party of his commitment to discharging of duties.

He disclosed that he has gestated the vision and mission of the PDP national youth movement and has keyed into its objective as it is important to garner millions of young Nigerians to form the largest youth network and translate same into voting strength for the PDP come 2023. He added that youth is the likewise of Nigeria and that time has come for them to showcase their strength in rescuing the country through the PDP.

He thanked Distinguished Sen., Dr., Abubakar Bukola Saraki for finding him worthy of such a key position in the party and also pledges his loyalty.

Though he revealed that he never foresaw the appointment, he noted that he understands that hard work and consistency pay in mysterious ways. He had stayed committed to grassroots politicking and youth mobilization for good governance while serving as a stakeholder in the erstwhile APDA.
