PDP candidate in the last November 16 Kogi Governorship election,Engineer Musa Wada has condoled the Aguma Bassa of Tawari village in Kogi Local Government over the attacks of the armed men to the area and it’s people.
A statement issued by Engineer Musa Wada said the attack was evidence of decadence in governance of the state by the current leaders.
Engineer Wada said Kogi is now gradually turning into war torn zone, were kidnappers,armed robbers,armed bandits,and criminal elements now used as a base to reach out other locations in and around the state including the neighborhood states.
PDP candidate regretted the current situation the state and it’s people have find themselves,but reassured them that their efforts will not go in vain.
He urged the securtiy agencies to fish out the culpirits without further delay,and to also put measures in place to protect motorists along Lokoja- Abuja axis,as well as Lokoja-Anyigba-Ankpa axis towards Otukpa in Benue state to burn the dreadful menance of kidnappers and wilful killers.
He prayed for the repose of the souls of those that died in the midnight incidence,praying for the family to bear the irreparable loss .
Engineer Wada described as very saddening to end the year and the beginning of another year with wanton loss of lives and properties of innocent citizens .
