This is not time for ego or arrogance but the time for sacrifice. “You may not like Engr Musa Wada, but he is now the instrument in our hands” Usman Austin Okai. I must salute the sacrifice of QS Aminu Abubakar who has issued official statement on his position on Engr Musa Wada and his readiness to work with him. This is pure demonstration of a character of charismatic leadership and a man with the interest of his own people. Perhaps, it is time for the others to do the same. PDP can only produce one governorship aspirant and in leo of this, the returning officer, His Excellency Governor Fintiri of Adamawa state has put an end to all the political speculation over who is going to face His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello the incumbent Governor of Kogi state. Bello’s failure is no longer news, but a glaring fact and his quest to emerge unopposed in the coming election is very clear with his latest threat to go court that the PDP primary results was announced in Abuja is now a clear sign of jittery and desperation in the camp of desperado.
Just as I said on AIT that Bello can’t tolerate any strong opposition, the body language of the Chief of staff, Enward Onoja, is a direct pointer at who don’t want PDP to hold a successful primary. Engr Musa Wada’s emergence as the party flag bearer has changed the ongoing political calculation and discussion, over who has the financial capacity to face Bello and who can curtail his excesses, thuggery, political disposition, and his temperament to opposition as demonstrated through his chief of staff is obvious. Some said is only Dino; while others are saying is only Abu Ibro. Some political school of thought are opinionating that is only Dr Victor Adoji. Some political power broker, believe that the next election is already closer and that is only Capt Idris Wada can urgently savage the yearning and aspiration of the people. Undoubtedly, the masses, the kogites who have suffered hardship in the hands of iron fist Governor of Kogi state are desperate for the alternative to Bello thus, it does not matters whoever is opposing him come November 16 because Bello can’t be better. From the foregoing, the will of the masses must be given ultimate priority, and whoever fails this real political trial may not be different from Edward Onoja who has said he is going to court over PDP’s primary but that shameless and uncalculated move would not prevent Edward Onoja and his boss Yahaya Bello from facing the masses.
TIME TO RALLY ROUND ENGR MUSA WADA IS NOW! Non of them can defeat Bello alone just as Bello alone can’t defeat anybody without his usual political culture of thuggery and rigging taking the advantage of systematic deficiencies and those who have turned our state to their own ATM. This is the time for us to rally him round. Again, you may not like him but it is not about his face or his academic background but about the need for the change of governance.
The time has come for us to demonstrate our collective resolution. It is not enough condemning Bello, but time has come for us to show our readiness collectively. Bello’s exit is imminent and I see jittery in Lugard house. We must actualize this and ensure the clarion demand is effective through united resolution of collective effort and reaching to all to join the rescue train of Kogi state liberation. There is no shame here, but time to demonstrate true love for the masses. Dr Victor Adoji, Abubakar Ibrahim Idris Ibro, Senator Dino Melaye, Jospeh Erico, Capt Idris Wada e’tal, Let us unite together now and flush Bello out. As kogi is sinking all kogites are sinking as it affects us directly or indirectly,
Eng. Musa Wada Can’t Defeat Bello, But We Can-By Usman Okai Austin
