EndBadGovernance: It’s evil, despicable to use children for politics – Joe Igbokwe

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has criticized politicians for allegedly exploiting vulnerable children for their own political agendas. His comments come in response to the recent public outcry over the arrest and arraignment of minors who participated in protests against hunger in August. These minors were granted bail of N10 million each after being charged, with the case set to resume in January 2025.

In a Facebook post, Igbokwe condemned the actions of these politicians, accusing them of using innocent children as pawns while their own children enjoy education in prestigious universities abroad. He warned that attempting to harm the futures of others’ children in pursuit of political gain would ultimately backfire, referencing the principle of karma. His remarks highlight the ongoing tensions surrounding the use of youth in political protests and the ethical implications of such actions.
