Emir Tussle: Kwankwaso Accuses FG, APC of Creating New Boko Haram in Kano

Senator Rabi’u Kwankwaso, the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has made a shocking accusation against the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government. He claims that they are attempting to create a new breed of Boko Haram terrorists and insurgents in Northern Nigeria.

Kwankwaso made this statement during a flag-off ceremony for the construction of the 82-kilometre rural road networks in his hometown, Madobi. He warned that the people of Kano will resist any attempt to undermine the constituted authority in the state.

“The people of Kano will not fold their arms and watch enemies of the state destroy the peaceful co-existence of our dear state,” Kwankwaso said. “We shall do everything possible to support the governor to succeed.”

He also criticized some desperate politicians who are attempting to disrupt the peace in Kano. “We dare anybody who thinks they can victimize us politically to go and try. We are ready for the fight,” Kwankwaso said.

Kwankwaso further stated that the Federal Government is listening to some unpatriotic politicians from Kano, who will only contribute to its failure. He emphasized that the NNPP administration is determined to serve the people and will not allow anyone to undermine the peace and stability of Kano.

This accusation comes amidst the ongoing situation in Kano, where security agencies have been backing the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero. The situation has raised concerns among the people of Kano, who fear that it may lead to further instability in the state.
