Eid-el-Kabir: Prince Muhammed Audu Felicitate With Muslims, Urges Kogites, leaders to place Unity Above Sectional Divisive Agenda

A frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Prince Muhammed Abubakar Audu has urged the people of Kogi State and political leaders to show love to one another, promote religious tolerance, and place greater interests of unity, peace, progress and harmony above personal interest and divisive sectional agenda as they celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir. Prince Audu in his Sallah message to the people, admonished them to “ingest the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir, which promotes the spirit of charity, piety, emancipation, the promotion of religious harmony, impartial leadership and true justice for all”.
He further urged the people “not to relent in their efforts to showing genuine love and respect for one another”. The full statement reads: “My dear people of Kogi State, I extend my very warm greetings to you all, particularly the Muslim faithfuls at this festive period of Eid-el-Kabir, as we join other Muslims around the world to mark a momentous deed of Islamic religious worship.
I congratulate all Muslims on this occasion, as we thank the almighty Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala for keeping us alive to witness this year’s Eid-el-Kabir. As we celebrate today, I beseech you all to ingest the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir, which promotes the spirit of charity, piety, emancipation, the promotion of religious harmony, impartial leadership and true justice for all. Let us not relent in our efforts to showing genuine love and respect for one another. In the spirit of this festive period, I beseech all political leaders in Kogi State to place the fundamental interest of the well-being and progress of our dear homeland above all considerations.
I entreat all Kogites and political leaders to place greater interests of unity, cohesion, peace, progress and harmony in Kogi State above personal ambition and divisive sectional agenda.
