EID-EL-KABIR: Kogi Deputy Governor, Elder Simeon Achuba Felicitates with Muslims

 
Kogi State Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba has congratulated Moslems across the country on the celebration of Eid el Kabir.
The Deputy Governor, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester urged Muslim faithfuls to use the occasion to pray for the continous unity and co-existence of the country.
He also enjoined faithfuls to celebrate and offer sacrifices to God the creator for making them to witness yet another Eid el Kabir.
The Deputy Governor thanked Kogites on the Holy day celebration, urging them to keep faith with their God for His mercies, love and protection.
Praying further for peace, unity and religious tolerance, which he said are essential to sustaining the glory of the nation, the Deputy Governor urged the Faithfuls to remember the less privileged in their celebration.
He urged the youth to be good ambassadors of the state any where, anytime and shun any act that is capable of denting the image of the state.
On the forthcoming election in the state, the Deputy Governor prayed for successful and violence free contest.
