EFCC: Magu’s Fate Sealed, Risks arrest, Favoured candidate revealed.

President Muhammadu Buhari has sealed the fate of embattled Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibahim Magu, source revealed.

Reliable sources close to the Presidency disclosed that Magu will not only be sacked next week but will also be likely arrested and prosecuted for corruption and abuse of office.

This, according tone source, is based on the indicting Memo which Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN), recently sent to President Muhammadu Buhari, in which he.

“A serving Commissioner of Police from Yobe State has already been chosen to take over from Magu,” one source said, while another source named incumbent Commissioner of Police for the FCT, Mr. Bala Ciroma, as the favoured candidate.
