Popular philanthropist, lawyer, educationist, businessman and politician, Barr.Kenneth Imasuagbon, was honoured by the foremost Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma(AAU) and inducted into the university’s hall of fame at its 40th year founding anniversary.
Imasuagbon, who amongst 22 others, have contributed to the development of the university, Edo state and beyond and in recognition of his selfless humanitarian services was honoured.
The honoree who was applauded by the vice chancellor of the university prof. Benson Osadolor was spoken of glowingly and encouraged to continue to do those good things he is known for.
Receiving the award, Barr.Kenneth Imasuagbon said there are people who are known for doing good things and there are people who are known for doing bad things. But he wants to be known for doing good things. He also dedicated the award to the founder of the university and former Governor of old bendel, Prof.Ambrose folorunsho Ali.
He commended the university for finding him worthy of the award, and said this will spur him to do more.
Barr. Kenneth Imasuagbon also commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for transforming the educational sectors in Edo state and for his massive development across the university that have seen it as one of the best in the recent rankings.
The Governor was represented at the occasion.
