Edo 2020: The defeated governorship candidate of the APC in Edo, Ize-Iyamu meets Buni, Yahaya Bello in Abuja

OBSERVERS TIMES reliably gathered that that Ize-Iyamu was persuaded at the meeting to accept the outcome of the election – Ize-Iyamu was defeated by the candidate of the PDP and incumbent governor, Godwin Obaseki
The Nation reported that Ize-Iyamu had a closed-door meeting with the chairman of the APC caretaker committee and governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, on Wednesday, September 23, in Abuja. Legit.ng gathers that the governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello was also present at the meeting which took place at the Abuja residence of the chairman.

It was also gathered the meeting discussed the way forward for Ize-Iyamu after the election. Ize-Iyamu was defeated by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and incumbent governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki.
