With Cultism, Thuggery, Kidnapping, Armed Robbery and all the killings, no arrest has been made till date and nothing has been heard. Lip sealed as if everything is normal.
The essence of Government is to protect lives and properties of citizens. The traditional rulers are to protect their territories and her people against intimidation and invasion of her land/people by eternal forces both physical and spiritual.
It is obvious that the local government administration whose purview fell asleep the chief securtiy officer has no capacity to combat such sophisticated act of criminalty including the traditional class.
It is also pertinent for Ogohi Onu Anyigba should rise and redouble efforts against this ugly developement. He should wake up and reign curses as well as stand upright as father of all.
Let him speak in synergy with other stakeholders and look for a lasting solution to put on hold all this unneccesary killings.
Something urgent need to be done to halt further killings in Anyigba, to protect the centre of Igala kingdom from the shackles of social vices.
Even though ,the cosmopolitan nature of the town is not helping matters,it is also obvious that the traditional ruler is also not resting on it’s oars,as both state and federal government attention is urgently needed on this frequent security threat to lives of it’s Citizens.
With special squad, incessant killings, kidnappings, banditry and armed robbery attacks will be reduced to the barest minimum.
More efforts should also be redoubled by our elected Representatives both in the provision, recruitment and funding of special vigilantee, to address the rising insecurity in Anyigba,the hub of commercial activities in Igala land.
