A former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, has been invited again by the Department of State Security Services, DSS, for further interrogations, OBSERVERS TIMES learnt.
It was further learnt that Dr. Mailafia is expected to be at the DSS office at Jos, the Plateau State capital, by 12noon, on Monday, August 17, 2020.
His Lawyer, Bawa Ba Esq, confirmed this on Monday morning.
Bawa disclosed that the invitation “was a buildup to the previous one; it is a process with Security Agents. It is normal for further discussion”.
On the reason for the fresh invitation, Bawa believes that it would not be anything different from the last encounter, which he stated was purely interactive.
