The Ag Director General National Broadcasting Commission NBC, Professor Armstrong Aduku Idachaba has commended the present administration for the approval of 9.43 Billion naira for the completion of the Digital Switch Over DSO of it’s activities from analogue to Digital.
Professor Idachaba made this statement while reacting to the approval of money to NBC,says approval will bring to par the program of the organisation with the required international standards.
He expressed confidence in the chief image maker of the country and Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed over his commitement towards realising the objectives behind the new technology of Digital Switch Over DSO.
He says both the technical, economic and social aspect of the new platform will create multiple advantage to Nigerians.
‘With the funds approval, all hands will be on deck to roll out in our major cities of Lagos, Kano and Port Harcourt in addition to the earlier ones already on place in Jos and Enugu and gradually spread to all the states of the Federation.’ Professor Idachaba said
