Anyigba Thug:Don’t Shield APC Rampaging thugs;PDP Kogi Warns Kogi Police Command 

Peoples Democratic Party,has warned the police hierarchy in the state not to support the activities of APC thugs in Dekina local government following the arrest of one of the notorious thugs known as Abdul Momoh, AKA Abdul madigba
Abdul Momoh has been terrorizing PDP members from houses to houses and various rallies organised by the party to sensitize the electorates towards February elections
The arrest of the notorious thugs by the police in Anyigba was a welcome development, as kogi state government had already created a soft landing for the release of the thug to continue to unleash his violent attacks on innocent people in the area
According to the zonal chairman of the PDP, the zonal office warned on the consequences of the police releasing the thug,as it will send wrong signals that will allow people to take laws into their hands
Madigba had engaged the PDP members in violent activities in Abocho ward, that led to the abortion of the ward to ward rally of the party sometimes ago with vehicles and machines razed down without resistance
The state sponsored thug along with his colleagues stormed Ikpakpala,Etutekpe in Iyale ward to unleash severe attacks on supporters of PDP that led to the burning down of over 20 vehicles and machines as well as injuring many supporters with sophisticated weapons
The statement said if the trend is not checked, and the script been played by Kogi government by engaging thugs to scare away legitimate political gatherings,it will attract reprisal and truncate the 2019 general election in the state
The police owes a duty to protect members of all  the political party’s rather than taken sides with the state government to carry out their nefarious and deadly activities
He said the council is not surprised by the new wave of thuggery attacks from the APC led government,as the removal of the former police commissioner and other senior officers was due to lack of cooperation from them to sustain their satanic tendencies
