Igala Vanguard Warns Kogi Governor the 30.8 Billion naira Bailout funds recently released by the federal government, is meant for workers areas between 2012 -2016, applied by the immediate administration of Capt Idris Wada Kogi Renaissance Group (KRG), gave this clarification to alert the governor not to disburse the money to his political office holders,Party elders and other ancillary programs Ankpa said the fund was meant to service the arrears of Civil servants owed by the state government,saying the governor should source for funds to pay his 48 months arrears outstanding since his inception He urged the workers at the state and local government to demand the payment of their outstanding salaries owed by the present administration,if his desire to return to Lugard is genuine He said kogi workers should not be cajoled into needless celebration over their legitimate earnings in arrears for all levels of kogi workers.
The spokesman of the group Eng Lawrence Ankpa wondered why the state governor and his agents, had gone to town to celebrate the release of the funds,saying the federal authorities released the money to cushion the effect of bad governance to the workers He urged Labour leaders in Kogi to renew their agitation to ensure the out going governor,Alhaji Yahaya Bello meet the obligation of the state workforce and pensioners Mohammed said the current adminstration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello cannot reap were it did not sow,saying the salary liabilities of the present administration had dragged the quest for the development of the state,decades back
