Don expresses shock over ‘tragic death’ of Muntari Daura

Former vice chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra state, Professor Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba, has expressed shock at the death of Muntari Dauda Daura, describing it as a tragic loss to the nation.
Speaking in a condolence letter he issued on Sunday and personally signed, addressed to the elder brother to the deceased, Malam Mamman Daura, Professor Benjamin urged the bereaved to find solace in the exemplary life that the deceased lived before his demise.

Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba, who is the Garkuwan Matasan Najeriya, prayed that God grant Malam Mamman Daura and other members of family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“Please accept my condolences sir. I received the sad news of the transition of your beloved junior brother Malam Muntari Dauda Daura today. This is definitely a tragic loss to you and your family as well as our nation Nigeria to which he was until his last day, rendering an invaluable service.
“While we believe and submit to the will of our creator who gives and takes life, we are pained by his demise. I pray that He restores and grants you the fortitude to bear the loss.

“However, we find solace in the loving and exemplary life that he lived. May Allah Forgive his short coming and may Aljanna fidausi be his final abode. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un!”
