Dogara Slams Bala Mohammed for Criticizing Tinubu After Seeking His Help

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has criticized Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, for his sudden turnaround on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Dogara alleged that Mohammed sought Tinubu’s help to avoid legal trouble after rigging his way into office and praised him at the time. However, just months later, Mohammed has labeled Tinubu as “inept, incompetent, and incapable of running Nigeria.”

Dogara described Mohammed’s recent utterances as uncalled for and unnecessary, highlighting the governor’s hypocrisy. He also questioned Mohammed’s competency, citing the lack of functional social amenities in Bauchi State under his leadership, including a high number of out-of-school children and non-functional hospitals.

Dogara’s statement comes after Mohammed criticized President Tinubu’s policies, urging him to change course to avoid jeopardizing his reelection in 2027. The former Speaker accused Mohammed of speaking like a thug and understanding only the language of thuggery, adding that he has long denounced him as such.
