Discrepancies on 2023 Presidential, Governorship Votes unsettles Kogi tribunal

The presidential election for 2023 has come and gone ,but the traces left is much to be desired than to speak on as the then governor of kogi state ,Alh Yahaya Bello after lossing the presidential primaries to the present president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,His Excellency , President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ( GCFR) promised to mobilize Nigeria voters , most importantly youths from across the COUNTRY including kogi State for the victory of Mr President.
It will interest you to know that ,Yahaya Bello who contested the office of president went into the race with 63 delegates only to score 47 votes exactly his age at that particular year despite spending huge resources of kogi fund across the country in his quest to realize his ambition.
Mr president who was not kin to the promise after his failure at the primaries merely accepted all the governor’s promises only to see the results of the election for Mr president to score 22 thousand votes from okene LGA ,the governor’s home LG.
It will interest you to know also that ,the same year we were told from the independent national electoral commission ( INEC) results that ,the same party ,( APC) score 138 thousand votes as Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo as the candidate of the party.
The issues on the limps of kogites were ??
Is they any new voters registration ??
The answer is No.
Is there any civil war that attracted migration of persons and communities from other states to Okene LGA ?
The answer is No
And why the rejection of Mr President for this poor votes despites assurances and re assurance of the then governor Bello.
This shows that the allegations that the governor was romancing with other political parties in ensuring the failure of Mr president has come to reality.
Its patinent for Mr president to double check records of performance of some former governor’s and the present ones who are neck deep into a promise to deliver him in 2027 as a chameleon that hardly change at the times of need.
As the kogi state governorship election petition tribunal commence sitting in Abuja and are almost at the concluding part of the petitioner point of argument, the issues of miracle votes in the entire kogi central are part’s of the issues raised for determination among them are pre – filed results ,Over voting ,and none qualification of the APC candidate,Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
General opinion are of the Believe that the election in kogi central will not stand as both Bvas report, back end result and oral testimonies of voters and other agents has confirmed the later of over voting among other’s.
As we proceed to the last week of the petitioner 30 days grace allowed by the tribuna to defend their petition, we hope to see what the respondent’s will bring to the table for the defence of the APC and its candidate,Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
